Sugherificio Molinas is the first main sponsor of the 2nd edition of Cannonau Likeness International

Cannonau Likeness International is an event aimed at enhancing the value of Sardinia's princely vine, Cannonau, and was born from an idea by Vinoway Italia in collaboration with Assoenologi Sardegna.

This year, the Cannonau Likeness International will be held at the Manifattura Tabacchi in Cagliari on the 26th of October 2024. The initiative was presented at Vinitaly 2024 on April 17th at the Sardinia Pavilion.

As representatives of the Sardinian territory, with which we have strong ties, we decided to become the first main sponsor of the 2nd edition of Cannonau Likeness International. Our Sales Director, Paolo Molinas, also took part in the presentation press conference, together with Gian Franco Satta (Agricultural Councillor for the Sardinia Region), Davide Gangi (Vinoway Italia), Mariano Murru (President of Assoenologi Sardegna), Angelo Concas (National President of Epulae), Maria Assunta Serra (Director of Sardegna Ricerche), Mario Mereu (President of Consorzio di Tutela Cannonau di Sardegna DOC), Nina Puddu (Le Donne del Vino Sardegna), Stevie Kim (Vinitaly International) and Vincenzo Russo (Neuromarketing Professor at IULM Milan).

Cannonau Likeness International will evaluate the best quality wines participating in the event by employing heterogeneous tasting committees composed of winemakers, distributors, Sardinian and national journalists, wine merchants and restaurateurs. The tastings will be blind, with two panels of up to five judges, to guarantee total transparency.
