Ronc Dai Luchis Friulan winery joins the Pondus® project.

The studies on the controlled oxygenation of the wines sealed with our one-piece closures continue.

Ronc Dai Luchis, a small winery and agritourism located in the heart of the “Colli Orientali del Friuli”, is the new name that has appeared among the participants of our research project related to the Pondus® stopper.

A reality rich in history, with a long tradition handed down for three generations, Ronc Dai Luchis has found an ideal partner in our cork factory; a relationship born of friendship and continued over time until today, 30 years later, thanks to the high quality that distinguishes us. Federico De Luca, the winery’s current owner, says: «Even though we also work with other cork producers, you can see the difference in quality with Molinas closures».

For Ronc Dai Luchis, the decision to take part in the Pondus® trial was determined by the company’s commitment to the continuous search for higher quality. «We are very interested in understanding the evolution of our wines thanks to the cork, and for this project, we have chosen to observe the effects of Pondus® on Refosco di Faedis, one of our flagship products».

Once again, cork is proving to be a valuable ally in winemaking, chosen for its sustainability but mainly for a technical reason: it is true that in Italy cork has always been considered to be an essential wine stopper, but it is also true that thanks to cork it is possible to offer a range of very different products, suitable for various types of wine. «With Pondus®, we hope to find an innovative and highly personalized closure capable of giving a new nuance to our excellence».
