Unomattina introduces our sensory analysts

Our cork factory was featured in a report aired on Rai 1 by Unomattina on April 19th.

The program focused on our sensory analysts, who are responsible for a fundamental phase of controlling the quality of the cork used.

Interviewed by Domenico Marocchi, Mariangela Ciaffia, Head of the Laboratory, Quality Certifications and Olfactory Selection, spoke to Unomattina’s microphones about the valuable work carried out by the sensory analysts, revealing some curiosities about this unique job, which is carried out using one of the senses least used by man in modern times: the sense of smell.
